When did you join PPL?
I joined PolyPeptide in 2015. I first joined the Malmö site in Sweden and now, I am based in Torrance, California for a secondment. It is truly a family and professional adventure.

Professionally, my goal was to bring technical expertise and innovation to a growing and transforming company.

What aspect of your job excites you?
Definitively, what I love most is working with our talented Engineering teams. I try to promote exchanges between departments and sites, which is unfortunately not easy at the moment. In Engineering, through all our new investment projects, we are fortunate to be able to collaborate with all the departments of the Company.

I also like to work on new technologies, new concepts and on the optimization of our existing processes.

What trends do you see within Engineering from a global perspective?
From a global perspective, our challenges are manyfold. To be successful, we need to enhance our flexibility, our agility and our performances.

To answer these challenges, the key is the Innovation, the Digitalization and the Expansion.

The Innovation in our existing processes or through the implementation of new technologies (in Analytics and Manufacturing), greener processes…

The Digitalization to improve the quality of the final products, to facilitate data collection and decision making or to allow a direct data access to our customers.

The Expansion of our existing assets or toward new markets/areas such as Personalized Medicines or Oligonucleotides.

When you are not working; what´s your favorite thing to do?
Like any French person, I particularly enjoy a nice dinner, a good wine and a lot of humour with my family and my friends.

I also like hiking to explore new natural spaces, visiting cities and museums and discovering new cultures and new people.
