ABOUT THE ROLE
Polypeptide's QC department in Limhamn currently consists of 48 competent and dedicated employees who are responsible for analysis of API and starting materials/raw materials, validation of analytical methods, stability testing, instruments and systems, specifications and methods. Our main analysis techniques are HPLC, GC, LC-MS and for traceability and documentation we use LIMS. The department consists of 5 teams with different areas of responsibility, where we are now looking for a department manager for the QC Starting & Raw Materials team.
Main Responsibilities
As Manager QC Starting & Raw Materials, you will lead a team of 16 employees with a focus on:
- Analysis and release of starting materials and raw materials for all sites within the PolyPeptide Group
- Validation and transfer of analytical methods
The role includes budget and personnel responsibility, as well as operational and strategic responsibility, and you will ensure that the team delivers according to set goals and timelines. Furthermore, you are responsible for employee development, salary setting and recruitment. You report directly to our Director QC.
YOUR PROFILE
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. or Ph.D in analytical chemistry or related field
- Several years of experience working as an analytical chemist in GMP or equivalent quality system
- Years of experience leading an organization or team
- Good knowledge of most of the following techniques: HPLC, GC, MS, Titrering
Is a merit:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with GMP in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in change management is a merit as we are on an extensive growth journey during the next few years
- Previous experience from a leadership role in QC is highly meritorious
You are a highly driven person with a clear ownership of your and your department's tasks. You are an inspiring leader who has the ability to develop the organizations you are part of and are happy to challenge existing processes. As a manager, you have the ability to navigate and support employees in a fast-paced, changing environment. Ability to express yourself correct both orally and in writing in Swedish and English is a prerequisite
