ABOUT THE ROLE

PolyPeptide is now looking for an IT technician to join our IT Service Desk team. In this role, you will provide IT support across the entire organization, diagnosing and resolving a wide range of technical issues to ensure the stability and efficiency of IT systems and services, with main focus of IT production support. The position primarily involves second-line support tasks and requires hands-on, on-site troubleshooting and maintenance.

In the IT technician role, your main tasks are:

• Find solutions and manage the IT service delivery related to local systems and applications used within the production area of the site.
• Handle escalated technical issues from the first-line support team, ensuring timely diagnosis and resolution.
• Assist employees with hardware, software, and connectivity issues, both remotely and on-site when necessary.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, enterprise applications, and IT hardware. Basic network knowledge periodically applied (Patching, LAN, WAN, IP addressing)
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and procedures and making sure documentation for local system is up to date and compliant with PolyPeptides QMS, GMP and GAMP requirements.
• Participate in projects related to Production systems.
• You are involved in GMP/qualification activities related to IT systems, such as reviewing audit trails, supporting risk and impact assessments, and assisting with system validation.

YOUR PROFILE

To be successful in the role, we see that you meet the following requirements:

• Post secondary education within relevant field.
• Working experience in second-line IT support or similar role.
• Experience with ITIL, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, and ITSM tools is a merit.
• Basic network knowledge (Patching, LAN, WAN, IP addressing).
• Good communication skills in English and Swedish, both speaking and writing.

It's not a requirement, but highly advantageous if you have:

• Previous experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Experience with PLC
• Experience with the production systems Unicorn, Lyosuite and/or Hipersep SC
